Artisan Law is not just a business, it is a mission: a mission to make quality legal services affordable and client-friendly, and to create a livelihood as a socially sustainable business. We work on a fixed-fee basis, provide clear quotes for all of our services, and offer certainty in terms of costs, with no hidden fees or time-costed extras.
Our business aims to be part of the community we live in. All of our staff are locally hired and paid above award level. We give back to charities by volunteering for Salvation Army and Red Cross Wills Days, supporting our region’s not-for-profits and sponsoring the academic achievement prize at Namadgi School.
At Artisan Law, we specialise in Wills and estate law, but offer a range of services, including:
- Simple and complex Wills;
- Estate administration;
- Powers of Attorney;
- Contract law;
- Small business law.
We offer mobile services and home visits at no extra cost on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays and Fridays, we work from the office in Deakin. After-hours appointments are available by arrangement Tuesday – Friday.
While we are based in Canberra, we are experienced in both ACT and NSW law generally, and the preparation of Wills Australia-wide. If you want to know whether we can assist you with a particular matter, please just ask!
Kellin Kristofferson – Firm Principal
Kellin believes firmly in the duty of solicitors to make the law understandable. Having witnessed the consequences poor preparation can have for even apparently simple Wills, he is dedicated to ensuring that his clients’ wishes are carried out, and that they are empowered to make important decisions.
Having previously worked pro bono and in connection with charities, Kellin also believes in the need for quality services that are affordable for all clients. His hope is that abandoning the traditional law firm model will allow him to provide those services, whilst also offering flexibility in appointment times and locations.
Kellin is available to meet clients from Canberra and surrounding regions at home, so that the process of creating a Will is as simple as possible. He can also meet with you at the office if you prefer.

A copy of the pre-conference questionnaire is available here. Completing this questionnaire is a helpful way to get you thinking about the sorts of information you will need in planning your estate.
